ABOUT US

Forest FC is an FA Charter Standard Football Club

Forest Football Club having won back to back promotions and will be playing in Division 2 North of the West Sussex Football League for the 13/14 season in their famous tangerine shirts, tangerine shorts and white socks.

It is our aim to enter a reserve team for the 13/14 season and we would welcome any approaches from prospective players, managers, assistants etc. Ideally this side will comprise up and coming young players who will not only enhance our on field reputation but enjoy the facilities that The Roffey Club can offer 7 days a week. Contact can be made through this web site.

Home games are played at The Roffey Club, Spooners Road, Horsham, West Sussex, RH12 4DY. Visit their web site at http//roffeysocialandsportsclub.co.uk to see the extensive range of sport and social related activities they have to offer for their members.

The First team will continue having M&B Landscaping Services as their sponsor for the 2013/14 season.

Management team..........

Scott Shorey is the current first team manager. Scott will be taking the hot seat again for the 2013/14 campaign. The Assistant Manager for the coming season is Richard Grover with Keith Warman coming in as team coach whilst Bruce Dumbrell continues in his role as goalkeeping coach.

The objectives for the 13/14 season are to regain our Intermediate status by gaining promotion to the 1st Division of the WSFL and to start a development side in Division 5.

TRAINING IS ON THURSDAY AT THE ROFFEY CLUB - 6.30PM MEET - All prospective players, Managers and coaches  welcome.

The youth section continues to go from strength to strength. The 'Youth' run very successfully off the field as well as on. This coming season we will be adding yet another side to Forest Youth FC. In the 2011/2012 campaign we will be competing at ages from U7's/U8's/U9's and U10's. By 2018 we will have a full youth section from U6's to U18's! The mini minor sides will play home matches on the "cornfield" next to the main pitch at Roffey Social and Sports Club. Whereas both senior teams and U18s play on the main pitch.

Our Youth sides focus on delivering first class training, coaching and overall development for a variety of age groups in youth football in the Horsham area.  In 2011 we signed a partnership with Pro Direct Soccer Academies that allows Forest to offer its very own Community Soccer School that offer "football for all" from ages of 4 and 5 right the way through to 8 years old. The Soccer School works as a feeder into the clubs teams but also offers the opportunity for the more advanced children to attend their specialised Academies.
